Qualifications

• Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
• At least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet and customer service experience preferred.
• Age 18+ (unarmed) / 21+ (armed) and background/drug screen requirements.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsabilités

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document events according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, entrances, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site policy, and report irregularities to designated personnel.
• Prepare accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements

• Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
