Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Guard Full Time Patrol in Pittsburgh, PA. You will protect a technology campus, performing unarmed patrols, monitoring access, and responding to incidents with a calm, professional approach. Excellent customer service and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• At least two years of security‑related experience is required.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology-focused campus by carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, common areas, parking locations, and perimeter areas to identify and report unusual conditions or policy concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, helping to deter unauthorized entry and supporting a controlled workplace environment.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain clear communication with Allied Universal leadership and site personnel regarding incidents, observations, and follow‑up needs.

Pay Rate: $20.28 / Hour

• Mon 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Tue 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Wed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Thur 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Fri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
