Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Guard Patrol in Pittsburgh, PA, to safeguard clients across financial institutions and other sites. You will be unarmed, maintain a visible presence, and provide excellent customer service while following established policies.

The role requires being 18+ for unarmed positions with a high school diploma or equivalent, plus background and drug screening as applicable. Schedule includes DayTime and Night shifts with earning potential $18.75/hour.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A drug screen may be required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and customers at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of banking areas, offices, entrances, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and vendor activity; report unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and other documentation accurately and in accordance with site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
