Job summary

University Enterprises Corporation at CSUSB is seeking a Security Guard for the CSRI Moreno Valley Center. The position is a 40-hour work week, full-time and benefited, with hours typically 8:45 AM to 5:15 PM, and some evenings and Saturdays.

Under supervision of the Center Manager, you will monitor access, perform security patrols, monitor cameras, respond to incidents, and maintain logs. Clerical tasks at the front desk and attendance records will be performed as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in professional security or clerical roles.
• Valid Guard Card; basic clerical/data-entry skills.
• Strong customer service and communication abilities.
• Ability to handle stressful situations calmly.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control access to the facility and ensure only authorized individuals enter.
• Conduct security patrols inside and outside the building.
• Monitor security cameras and report incidents to management.
• Respond to disturbances, emergencies, or security threats per protocols.
• Assist with front desk duties and visitor sign-ins; maintain records.
