Job summary

The University Enterprises Corporation at CSUSB (UEC) is seeking a Security Guard to join the CSRI center on-site. This temporary, full-time, benefited position works 40 hours per week, typically Monday through Friday with some evenings and Saturdays.

You will monitor access, perform patrols, review security cameras, and respond to incidents under the Center Manager’s supervision. Responsibilities also include front desk duties, visitor sign-ins, data entry, record-keeping, and outreach to

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Professional security, and/or professional clerical positions experience preferred.
• Valid Guard Card required.
• Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control access to the facility; ensure only authorized individuals enter.
• Conduct security patrols inside and outside the building.
• Monitor security cameras and report incidents to management.
• Respond to disturbances or emergencies following protocols.
• Maintain logs of security incidents and visitor check-ins.
• Front desk duties: greet visitors, answer phones, direct inquiries.
• Assist with records, data entry, and reporting as needed.
• Provide guidance to participants and communicate program policies.
