Job summary

University Enterprises Corporation at CSUSB is seeking a Temporary, full-time Security Guard to protect the facility and assist with clerical tasks. The role includes monitoring access, patrolling premises, CCTV oversight, and responding to incidents, with some evenings and Saturdays required.

Responsibilities also cover front-desk duties, visitor sign-ins, data entry, reporting, and supporting staff while engaging respectfully with diverse populations.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience: General security and clerical experience.
• Other: Valid Guard Card; basic clerical skills; familiarity with surveillance camera systems; strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to engage diverse populations; handle stressful situations calmly.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control access to the facility; ensure only authorized individuals enter.
• Conduct security patrols inside/outside; report incidents to management.
• Monitor security cameras and respond to incidents.
• Maintain a log of incidents, sign-ins, and unusual activity.
