Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, seeks a Security Guard Foot Patrol in LOS ANGELES, CA to safeguard clients across industries, including financial institutions. This unarmed patrol officer role emphasizes customer service, visibility, and adherence to site procedures.

Position Type: Full Time; Pay Rate: $19.25 / Hour. Schedule includes Tue 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM, Wed, Thu, Fri nights.

Qualifications

• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a financial services location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the building, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as directed by site procedures, and maintain accurate security-related logs and reports.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents, observations, and security-related concerns.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control procedures. • Fri: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
