Job summary

GardaWorld Security Services is seeking a Security Officer to protect people and property across offices, hotels, and shopping centers. You will deliver strong customer service, manage access control, perform patrols, inspect equipment, respond to incidents, and document concerns with incident reports.

Applicants must be 21+, authorized to work in the U.S., and have 3+ years in security or related fields; pass a comprehensive screening.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• High School Diploma or GED
• Pass an extensive screening process
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Proficient in basic phone & computer skills
• 3+ years Security, Military, or Law Enforcement experience
• State license if required
• Active DCJS
• At least 21 years of age
• Able to stand, walk, and sit for long periods
• Outgoing with excellent customer service and communication
• Open availability
• No face, neck, or hand tattoos
• Maintain GardaWorld grooming and uniform standards

As a Security Officer – There is a high focus on customer service since you will be working with people on all shifts, in environments such as office towers, hotels, shopping centers, etc.

What’s in it for you:

• Set schedule: Open availability for scheduling required for weekdays and weekends. Must be available to work mornings, evenings, and overnights. Days off could vary and weekends are required. This is a flex schedule. Would not guarantee full time hours.

Qualifications for Security Guard

• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Be able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
• Be able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Proficient in basic phone & computer skills
• You have at least 3+ years Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience – even better!
• You have a state license if required
• You have an active DCJS
• You are at least 21 years of age or older as required by applicable law or contractual requirements
• Must be able to stand, walk, and sit for long periods of time
• Must be outgoing and have excellent customer service and communication skills
• Must have open availabilty
• Must have no face, neck, or hand tattoos
• Must be able to maintain GardaWorld's grooming, hygiene, and uniform standards
