Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer (Entry Screening) in Longmont, CO. You will provide customer service, monitor access, and patrol designated areas to deter incidents and ensure safety.

The role offers a 21.00 USD hourly rate with daytime/night shifts and a flexible schedule through our Claim a Shift platform. All qualified applicants will receive equal opportunity employment.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check as required by federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen as a condition of employment; may be required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology-focused location by following security procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access control points, verify credentials, and report unauthorized access attempts.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; contact site personnel and emergency responders.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain activity logs of patrols, incidents, and communications.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy violations.
• Monitor access control points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report unauthorized access attempts or other security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; contact appropriate site personnel and/or emergency responders in accordance with established procedures.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain activity logs documenting patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related communications.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
