Allied Universal in Colorado Springs, CO is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Unarmed at a warehouse. You will provide customer service to employees and visitors, screen individuals and packages, verify credentials, and respond to incidents to help maintain a safe, secure environment.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to background investigation as required by law.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories as permitted by law.
• Subject to a drug screen where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply per state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and/or vendors at a technology and logistics location by carrying out site-specific security procedures, access requirements, and emergency response activities.
• Screen individuals, packages, and/or deliveries using prescribed processes and screening equipment; report prohibited items and concerns to site personnel.
• Verify credentials, visitor authorizations, and delivery documentation before access to designated areas.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner following escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of screening areas and entry points; document observations and complete activity reports.

• Sat 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and/or vendors at a technology and logistics location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access requirements, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Screen individuals, packages, and/or deliveries using prescribed processes and screening equipment; report prohibited items, irregularities, and policy concerns to appropriate site personnel.
• Verify credentials, visitor authorizations, and delivery documentation before permitting access to designated areas.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned screening areas, entry points, and the surrounding business perimeter; document observations and complete required activity reports.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
