Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background & drug screening as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at a technology/telecom location by following security procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and document activity in logs/reports.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies calmly and escalate as needed.
• Maintain professional appearance and report security concerns per Allied Universal procedures.

Pay Rate: $26.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Sat: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
Sun: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors at a technology and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and help to deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and document relevant activity in required logs or reports.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Maintain a professional presence while observing and reporting security-related concerns, hazards, and policy violations in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfortable use of a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
