• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public while carrying out site-specific security procedures and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations calmly and professionally, notifying appropriate personnel or public service agencies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned government buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor authorization, and report suspicious activity or maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and shift documentation per Allied Universal and site requirements.

As a Security Guard Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Screening in KISSIMMEE, FL, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment('Anchor Shifts'): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or public service agencies as required.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned government buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and report suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and shift documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least two years of security-related experience is required.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
