Allied Universal in Kailua, HI is seeking a Security Guard Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol Driver to provide reliable, on-site security support with fixed anchor shifts and the option to pick up additional shifts.

You will help patients, visitors, and staff, perform regular unarmed patrols, respond to incidents, and maintain a safe, orderly environment. A valid driver’s license and a high school diploma are required, with background checks and drug screening per policy.

As a Security Guard Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol Driver in Kailua, HI, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $25.76 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sun 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM

Pre-Employment Requirements: Valid Driver's License - AU Driver Policy Requirements (C123)
Valid Driver's License - In Job State (C124)

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors while carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout healthcare facilities, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner and notify appropriate personnel as needed.
• Assist with visitor access procedures, directions, and the maintenance of an orderly environment for patients and visitors.
• Document observations, incidents, and response activities accurately in accordance with site‑specific policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
