Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol Public Assistance in Honolulu, HI to provide reliable security and assist tenants and visitors. The role features fixed anchor shifts with opportunities to pick up additional shifts for increased earnings.

Qualifications

• Guard card or license preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation will be conducted in accordance with applicable laws.
• Drug screen may be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and parking patrons by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to parking facility incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of parking areas, garages, building access points, and surrounding property to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Monitor parking operations, observe compliance with posted rules, and report maintenance concerns through established procedures.

Pay Rate:

Job Schedule:

Mon: 07:00 PM - 11:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

• Respond to parking facility incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate personnel as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of parking areas, garages, building access points, and surrounding property to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.
• Monitor parking operations, observe compliance with posted property rules, and report damaged equipment, lighting issues, or other maintenance concerns through established procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
