As a Security Guard Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol in Reseda, CA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $18.42 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeSun07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out site‑specific procedures, access‑control practices, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and surrounding property to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, visitor activity, and applicable access points; verify credentials and follow established visitor‑management procedures.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document events according to site procedures.
• Prepare clear and accurate activity reports, incident reports, and shift documentation; communicate relevant information to supervisors and incoming personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• At least 6 months of security‑related experience is required.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
