Allied Universal is looking for a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol Customer Assistance in Los Angeles, CA. The role offers flexible, anchor shifts and a program to claim additional shifts to increase earnings.

You’ll perform security patrols, monitor access, and assist employees and visitors at a financial institution. The position supports part-time employment with potential progression to full-time, with training and development opportunities and a benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or customers at a financial institution.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor access to designated areas and verify visitor authorization.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies calmly and follow procedures.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol Customer Assistance in Los Angeles, CA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $20.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeMon08:45 AM - 05:30 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or customers at a financial institution by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and security-related issues.
• Monitor access to designated areas, verify visitor authorization as required, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site-specific emergency response procedures.
• Communicate observations and security-related concerns promptly to site leadership, Allied Universal management, and/or appropriate emergency personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
