Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced in Springfield, MO. The role offers flexible, anchor-shift scheduling with opportunities to pick up additional shifts and grow toward full-time work.

The position pays $16.21 per hour and includes a fixed shift with potential to earn more via the Earn More, Claim-A-Shift program. Excellent customer service and alert, calm decision‑making are essential.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and utility personnel while carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established site protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of utility facilities, buildings, parking areas, perimeter areas, and other assigned locations.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and report unusual activity or unauthorized access.
• Complete detailed activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site‑specific requirements.

As a Security Guard Enhanced Part Time Patrol Driver in Springfield, MO, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $16.21 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
