Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Enhanced Security Officer for a hospital-access role in Chattanooga, TN. The position offers fixed anchor shifts and opportunities to pick up additional shifts to increase earnings, with a potential pathway to full-time work within a leading security and facilities services company.

Responsibilities include patient and visitor security, responding to incidents, patrolling, access monitoring, and enforcing site policies in a hospital setting.

Qualificações

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Must have at least one year of security-related experience.
• Must meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Must be willing to work in and around a hospital morgue.
• Must be able to restrain individuals as needed.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Applicants subject to background check and drug screening as required by law.

As a Security Guard Enhanced Part Time Hospital Access in Chattanooga, TN, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Thu 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including situations involving patients, visitors, and staff within a healthcare setting.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, entrances, parking areas, and the facility perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Monitor access points and support visitor management procedures in accordance with site-specific policies.
• Document incidents, observations, and other security-related activities accurately and promptly.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Must have at least one year of security-related experience.
• Must meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Must be willing to work in and around a hospital morgue.
• Must be able to restrain individuals as needed.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
