Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced in Chattanooga, TN. This flexible role provides reliable hours at an assigned site with the option to earn more by picking up additional shifts through our scheduling platform.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, donors, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the healthcare location, including exterior and parking areas, reporting unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and observe activity to deter unauthorized entry and security concerns.
• Respond to incidents calmly and professionally, following site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel or emergency services.
• Document patrols, incidents, and observations in accordance with site requirements.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Access Services in Chattanooga, TN, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $16.48 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri 06:00 AM - 01:30 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.


• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, donors, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.


• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the healthcare location, including the building exterior, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter, while reporting unusual conditions.


• Monitor access points and observe activity to help deter unauthorized entry, disruptive behavior, and other security-related concerns.


• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency services when needed.


• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and other security-related activities accurately in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.


• Customer service experience is preferred.


• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.


• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.


• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.


• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
