Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of banking areas, entrances, parking facilities, ATMs, and surrounding perimeter.
• Monitor access points and observe activity, reporting suspicious conditions and policy violations.
• Respond to incidents calmly and coordinate with site contacts and emergency responders when needed.
• Maintain armed post equipment and complete accurate incident reports and patrol logs.

As a Armed Security Guard - Banking Center in New York, NY, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $47.22 / Hour

How This Role Works

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of banking areas, entrances, parking facilities, ATMs, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting suspicious conditions, hazards, and policy violations according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and emergency responders when needed.
• Maintain required armed post equipment and complete accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and other security-related documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements

• Possess a Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.
• Possess a Law Enforcement Officer License.
• An Armed Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
