Qualifications

• License requirements may apply per state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, contractors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials, and report suspicious activity and hazards through reporting channels.
• Respond to incidents and alarms calmly and professionally, coordinating with emergency responders when needed.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation in accordance with laws and site requirements.

Pay Rate: $23.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 12:30 PM - 08:30 PM
• Tue: 12:30 PM - 08:30 PM
• Wed: 12:30 PM - 08:30 PM
• Thur: 12:30 PM - 08:30 PM
• Sat: 08:30 AM - 04:30 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, contractors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and report suspicious activity, policy violations, hazards, and maintenance concerns through established reporting channels.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site-specific procedures and coordinating with emergency responders when needed.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation while handling assigned equipment in accordance with applicable laws, company policy, and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Experience using handcuffs, pepper spray, and batons is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
