Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors following site policies and emergency procedures at a government-operated utility location.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of facilities, grounds, and perimeter to deter incidents and identify security concerns.
• Monitor access control points and verify entry authorization per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and alarms calmly, coordinating with site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Prepare clear reports on patrols, incidents, and security activities.

Pay Rate: $18.95 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Tue 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Wed 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Thur 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Fri 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a government-operated utility location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access control points and verify authorization for entry, following established site procedures for visitors, vehicles, and deliveries.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and documentation regarding patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or possess a college degree.
• Possess an Armed Guard Card or license.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Pepper spray certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
