As a Security Guard Armed Patrol Driver Inspection in Weslaco, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide outstanding customer service. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license and armed credentials. Pay Rate: $14.00 / Hour

Job Schedule

• Mon 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Fri 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sat 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sun 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You’ll Do

• Provide customer service to store team members, customers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help deter theft, trespassing, and other unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity for unusual conditions, reporting incidents and completing required documentation in accordance with site procedures.
• Maintain required firearm qualifications and follow all applicable laws, Allied Universal policies, and site-specific procedures for armed posts.

Minimum Requirements

• Possess an Armed Guard Card or license.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
