Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Armed Patrol Driver Dispatch in Weslaco, TX. This role offers reliable hours at an assigned site with the potential to pick up additional shifts to increase earnings.

Pay rate is $14.00 per hour. The schedule includes DayTime Tue 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM. You will follow fixed anchor shifts and may earn more through the Earn More, Claim-A-Shift program, with opportunities to grow into full-time roles.

Qualifications

• Armed guard card or license required at time of hire.
• Level III Armed Certification is required in Texas.
• Background check and drug screen as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to customers, employees, and visitors while carrying out armed security procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and requests for assistance following protocols and laws.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of store areas and perimeter to deter incidents.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Armed Patrol Driver Dispatch in Weslaco, TX, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Job Schedule:

DayTimeTue10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to customers, employees, and visitors by carrying out armed security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail grocery location.
• Respond to incidents, critical situations, alarms, and requests for assistance in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following established protocols and applicable laws.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the store, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.
• Monitor access points, observe activity within the location, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, policy violations, and incidents to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required documentation related to patrols, incidents, and other security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• An armed guard card or license is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Level III Armed Certification is required in Texas.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
