Job summary

Allied Universal® is seeking a part-time Armed Patrol Security Guard in Atlanta, GA to protect clients at financial institutions and other sites. The role requires regular armed patrols, a visible presence, and professional response to incidents.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree.
• 5+ years of security-related experience.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and customers at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of banking areas, offices, parking facilities, entrances, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as directed by site policies, and maintain accurate activity and incident documentation.
• Maintain readiness of assigned equipment and communicate professionally with Allied Universal leadership, client personnel, and local emergency responders as needed.

DayTime Fri 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

Sat 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree.
• Possess 5+ years of security-related experience.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
