As a Security Guard- Armed Government Patrol - Morning Shift in Wauchula, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more .

As an armed patrol officer in a government setting, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a visible presence. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, providing excellent customer service, and communicating clearly with those on site. You will contribute to a positive environment by working collaboratively with your team and upholding the highest standards of integrity and reliability. This position requires you to be armed while performing your duties.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, helping to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor for suspicious behavior or unauthorized access and report findings according to established protocols.
• Assist law enforcement or emergency personnel as needed during incidents at the location.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations.
• Remain alert and prepared to respond to any security-related situation that may arise during patrols.
  
  

Minimum Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in an armed security-related, law enforcement, or military role is required.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Florida Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age or older for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
