Qualifications

• 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security experience.
• Armed guard card or license.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of law enforcement or military police training program.
• Valid driver’s license in the state of employment.
• Background check will be conducted.
• Drug screen required.
• Must be at least 21 years old for armed roles.
• State/local security license preferred.

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and public while following site policies and emergency procedures.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner; notify law enforcement as needed.
• Monitor access points and observe movement of vehicles and individuals entering or leaving the location.
• Prepare activity logs, incident reports, and communicate with site personnel and leadership.

As a Security Officer Armed Licensed Patrol Driver in Wauchula, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a government location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond professionally to situations as they arise. Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue: 08:00 AM - 05:00 PM
• Wed: 08:00 AM - 05:00 PM
• Thur: 08:00 AM - 05:00 PM
• Fri: 08:00 AM - 05:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a government law enforcement location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate law enforcement personnel and follow established reporting procedures.
• Monitor access points and observe the movement of vehicles and individuals entering or leaving the location in accordance with post orders.
• Prepare accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation, and maintain professional communication with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
• Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
