Job summary

Pilgrim's is seeking an Operations Management Support role in Mt. Pleasant, Texas. The position focuses on security and plant-safety responsibilities within a manufacturing environment.

You will monitor activity, conduct rounds, oversee access control, and ensure secure operations while handling shipping related tasks and documentation. Weekend/night availability may be required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor plant activity and security throughout the facility.
• Conduct hourly security rounds; verify room temperatures, gate security, and access points.
• Monitor and document associates, visitors, and vehicle traffic.
• Operate weight master scales and weigh trailers entering/leaving the plant.
• Answer and direct switchboard calls after business hours.
• Bill outgoing loads and maintain shipping documentation.
• Enforce company policies, procedures, and security protocols.
• Operate company vehicles safely.
• Inspect trailers for cleanliness, condition, and operability.
• Receive and document shipments; maintain records, logs, and reports.
• Report unusual activities or incidents to management.
• Assist with other duties and projects as assigned.

• Monitor plant activity and maintain security throughout the facility.
• Conduct hourly security rounds, including verifying:
• Room temperatures
• Gate security and access points
• Monitor and document all associates, visitors, and vehicle traffic entering and exiting the facility.
• Operate weight master scales and accurately weigh trailers entering and leaving the plant.
• Answer and direct incoming switchboard calls after business hours.
• Bill outgoing loads and maintain required shipping documentation.
• Follow, enforce, and help implement company policies, procedures, and security protocols.
• Operate company-owned vehicles in a safe and responsible manner.
• Inspect trailers to verify cleanliness, condition, and operability before use.
• Receive and document shipments of supplies and raw materials.
• Maintain accurate records, logs, and reports related to security and plant activity.
• Report unusual activities, safety concerns, security incidents, or policy violations to management.
• Assist with other duties and projects as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Ability to perform assigned tasks with minimal supervision.

• Effective communication skills, including the ability to remain calm and communicate under stressful situations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Security experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or warehouse environment.
• Strong computer skills and working knowledge of basic software applications.
• Experience with scale operations, shipping documentation, or facility access control systems.
