Job summary

New Brunswick Counseling Center is seeking a Security Administrative Officer to help maintain safety and professionalism while supporting administrative operations.

You will monitor entrances, escort unauthorized persons, patrol premises, assist with telehealth setup, and provide first aid when needed in a healthcare setting. This part-time role offers a consistent morning schedule with opportunities for professional development in mental health services.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• SORA certification (must be maintained/renewed).
• CPR certification.
• Security experience in healthcare/mental health settings preferred.
• Ability to stand for shifts and interact professionally with the public.
• Must pass pre-employment screenings and background check.

Schedule:

• Part-time: 18–22 hours/week
• Monday–Friday, 5:45 AM – 12:30 PM (any 3 days as assigned by agency)
• Saturday, 5:45 AM – 9:30 AM (rotational)
• Closed Sundays & major holidays.

Work Environment:

Walking, standing, stooping; occasionally lifting up to 25 lbs.
