Job summary

GDI, Inc. in Myrtle Beach is seeking a Security Guard to maintain a safe environment by monitoring site access, patrolling premises, and responding to incidents.

You will document activities, coordinate with the team, and ensure compliance with site rules throughout your shift. The role requires reliability, prior security or related experience, the ability to stand and walk during shifts, and a High School diploma.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in security, military, law enforcement, or other related fields.
• Familiarity with security equipment.
• Ability to handle a light physical workload and to stand/walk assigned patrols.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Have a HS Diploma or equivalent and maintain grooming standards.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules.
• Fill out reports with a high level of detail.
• Review reports and communicate effectively.
• Proficient with computer systems used for security.
• Thoroughly examine doors, windows, and gates to ensure proper function and security.
• Warn violators of premise rules and regulations.
• Report any facility issues such as fire hazards and leaking water pipes.
• Coordinate with emergency personnel as needed.
• Use provided software to annotate events during shift.
• Make rounds around the property and scan predetermined points as directed by management.
• Work as part of a team.
• Other assigned duties.

Join our great team as a Security Guard! - We are seeking a reliable, alert, and professional Security Guard to maintain a safe secure environment by monitoring site access, protecting property, and ensuring compliance with security purposes.

Pay Rate:

$14.00 per hour

Shift Hours:

Friday and Saturday

Responsibilities:

• Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules.
• Fill out reports with a high level of detail.
• Review reports and communicate effectively.
• Proficient with computer.
• Thoroughly examine doors, windows, and gates to ensure proper function and security.
• Warn violators of premise rules and regulations
• Report any facility issues such as fire hazards and leaking water pipes.
• Request emergency personnel for high-risk situations
• Successfully use the provided software to annotate events that occur during shift.
• Make regular trips around the property and scan the pre-determined points as directed by management.
• Work as part of a team
