GDI Integrated Facility Services is hiring a Security Guard in Decatur, AL. The role focuses on maintaining a safe environment by monitoring access, protecting property, and ensuring compliance with security procedures.

The position offers a 3:00pm–11:00pm shift, paid at $12.00 per hour, and opportunities for advancement. Responsibilities include patrols, detailed reporting, and coordination with team members.

Qualifications

• Prior security or related experience.
• Ability to operate security equipment and software.
• Reliable transportation and grooming standards.

Responsabilités

• Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or rule infractions.
• Fill out detailed reports and document incidents.
• Review reports and communicate findings effectively.
• Thoroughly inspect doors, windows and gates for security.
• Warn violators of rules and regulations.
• Report hazards such as fire risks or leaks.
• Coordinate with emergency personnel for high-risk situations.
• Use assigned software to annotate shift events.
• Conduct regular patrols around the property.
• Work as part of a team.

Join our great team as a Security Guard! - We are seeking a reliable, alert, and professional Security Guard to maintain a safe secure environment by monitoring site access, protecting property, and ensuring compliance with security purposes.
Pay Rate
$12.00 per hour
Shift Hours
3:00pm-11:00pm (Monday-Friday)

Responsibilities

• Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules.
• Fill out reports with a high level of detail.
• Review reports and communicate effectively.
• Proficient with computer.
• Thoroughly examine doors, windows, and gates to ensure proper function and security.
• Warn violators of premise rules and regulations
• Report any facility issues such as fire hazards and leaking water pipes.
• Request emergency personnel for high-risk situations
• Successfully use the provided software to annotate events that occur during shift.
• Make regular trips around the property and scan the pre-determined points as directed by management.
• Work as part of a team
• Other assigned duties
  

Requirements

• Previous experience in security, military, law enforcement, or other related fields
• Familiarity with security equipment
• Ability to handle a light physical workload. Ability to stand and/or walk assigned patrols.
• Strong attention to detail
• H.S. Diploma or equivalent
• Meet and continuously maintain grooming standards.
• Have a reliable means of transportation
