Job summary

CS Beef Packers LLC is seeking a security guard to control plant access, monitor entrances and exits, and respond to events. The role includes safeguarding personnel and property, while delivering courteous customer service to visitors, vendors, and staff. High School Diploma or GED required; prior security experience preferred.

Starting pay is $17/hr, increasing to $18.25/hr after training. Schedule is fixed: 6:20AM - 6:30PM.

Qualifications

• Greet visitors, vendors, employees and guests while enforcing access rules.
• Maintain courteous and professional conduct while performing security duties.
• Experience preferred but not required for entry-level candidates.

Responsibilities

• Authorize and monitor entrance/exit of employees, trucks, visitors, and others needing plant access.
• Prepare reports and notify management and local authorities of suspicious activity or incidents.

Summary of Duties: Responsible for authorizing and monitoring the entrance and departure of employees, trucks (product, supplies, and cattle trucks), visitors, and other persons who need to have plant access. As a member of the security team, guards are responsible for maintaining security, protecting property, preparing reports, taking after hour messages, and notifying local police, local fire departments, and management of any suspicious activities at the plant. Must be courteous and offer superior customer service to all visitors, vendors, employees, and guest. Previous security experience preferred. High School Diploma or GED required. Starting pay is $17/hr. and $18.25/hr. after training.

Schedule: 6:20AM - 6:30PM
