Job summary

Pilgrim is seeking a vigilant Security Assistant in Texas to cover for the Security Supervisor during their absence and perform critical rounds throughout the facility. You will monitor entry points, check temperatures, and ensure compliance with company policies while maintaining safety across trailers and buildings.

The role requires strong English communication, physical stamina for terrain and stairs, and the ability to work independently, with responsibilities including after-hours

Qualifications

• Must read, write and speak English; bilingual is a plus.
• Capable of walking over one mile on varied terrain in all weather and stairs.
• Ability to perform tasks without direct supervision.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Cover for the Security Supervisor in their absence.
• Conduct hourly rounds checking trailer temps, room temps, and gates.
• Monitor all associates entering and exiting buildings, including car traffic.
• Answer after-hours switchboard.
• Follow and implement company policies.
• Operate company vehicles if needed.
• Inspect trailers for cleanliness and operability as they enter the facility.
• Receive shipments of supplies and raw materials.
• Fill in the Security Department as needed.
