Acts Retirement-Life Communities is looking for a Security Guard to protect residents and property across our community. The role involves patrolling facilities, monitoring the gatehouse, and supporting residents and staff during evening and night hours.

Qualified candidates typically hold a high school diploma, have security or emergency response experience, and hold CPR/AED/First Aid certification or obtain it within 3 months. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior security and/or emergency response experience preferred.
• CPR, AED, and first aid certification (or obtain within 3 months).
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Patrol buildings and grounds and monitor the gatehouse to ensure safety and security of residents and staff.
• Provide support during evening and night hours for residents and team members.

Acts is currently seeking qualified candidates forour Security Guard position.

Under minimal direct supervision, this role ensures the security and safety of the community by patrolling the buildings and grounds and monitoring the gatehouse. Provides support during the evening and night hours for residents and team members.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior security and/or emergency response experience is preferred
• CPR, AED, & first aid certification (or obtain within the 3-month introductory period)
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license

Pay Range

$17.00 - $21.29 / hour. Starting rate will vary based on skills and experience.
