Job summary

Acts Retirement-Life Communities is seeking a Security Guard to safeguard residents and property. Under minimal supervision, you will patrol facilities, monitor access points, and assist during evening and night shifts to support residents and staff.

Ideal candidates hold a high school diploma, may have prior security or emergency response experience, and will obtain CPR/AED/First Aid certification if not already held. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• CPR, AED, and first aid certification required or to be obtained within 3 months.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.

Acts is currently seeking qualified candidates forour Security Guard position.

Under minimal direct supervision, this role ensures the security and safety of the community by patrolling the buildings and grounds and monitoring the gatehouse. Provides support during the evening and night hours for residents and team members.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior security and/or emergency response experience is preferred
• CPR, AED, & first aid certification (or obtain within the 3-month introductory period)
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license

Pay Range

$17.00 - $25.57 / hour. Starting rate will vary based on skills and experience.
