Job summary

Stellar Senior Living is seeking a diligent Security Guard for a large senior living community in Helena, MT. You will help protect residents, staff, and property during overnight hours with a focus on safety and courteous service.

The role offers a competitive hourly wage of $20–$21 plus benefits including medical, dental, vision, PTO, holidays, 401k, and on-demand pay. Training and opportunities for advancement are available within a growing organization.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing and cooperate with others.
• Proven work experience as a security guard or similar role.
• Trained security officer with diploma preferred but not required.
• Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures.
• Surveillance skills with orientation to detail.
• Integrity and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Protect company property and staff by maintaining a safe and secure environment.
• Observe for signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbances.
• Act lawfully in direct defense of life or property.
• Take accurate notes of unusual occurrences and develop reports for leadership.
• Report in detail any suspicious incidents (verbally and in writing).
• Patrol building and perimeter randomly and regularly.
• Monitor and control access at building entrances and vehicle gates.
• Watch alarm systems or cameras and operate safety equipment.

Job Description

Our Maintenance Director oversees keeping our residents living areas well-kept and serviced to high standards. You should also be able to resolve resident complaint and queries promptly and in a polite manner. You are the right candidate if you are pleasant, detailed oriented and friendly.
