Job summary

Stellar Senior Living is seeking a Security Guard for a large senior living community in Glendale, AZ. The role emphasizes safety, customer service, and proactive maintenance to keep residents safe and comfortable.

You will monitor access, respond to alarms and resident needs, and support a caring team. Training opportunities, benefits, and on-site meals accompany a stable, growth‑oriented workplace.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Trained security officer with diploma preferred.
• Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures.
• Strong surveillance and attention to detail.
• Good verbal and written communication; professional conduct.

Responsibilities

• Maintain pools, spas, ponds and water features; perform routine cleaning and testing.
• Monitor building access and respond to alarms; report safety issues.
• Assist residents, staff and visitors as needed.
• Complete work orders using the TELS phone app.
• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs as needed.

Job Description

Our Maintenance Director oversees keeping our residents living areas well-kept and serviced to high standards. You should also be able to resolve resident complaint and queries promptly and in a polite manner. You are the right candidate if you are pleasant, detail-oriented and friendly.

Responsibilities

• Maintain swimming pool, spa, ponds and other water features on property, including routine cleaning, water testing and chemical balancing.
• Monitor building access,respond to alarms ,resident pendants, and report safety or security concerns.
• Assist residents, staff , and visitors as needed.
• Complete work orders using TELS phone app.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including minor repairs, troubleshooting.
• Respond to maintenance emergencies such as plumbing, electrical, or equipment issues within scope of training.
• Assist with room turns, work orders, and facility upkeep.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Ability to communicate verbally and in written form and cooperate effectively with others
• Proven work experience as a security guard or relevant position
• Trained security officer with diploma
• Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols
• Surveillance skills with orientation to detail
• Integrity and professionalism
