Job summary

Harboroaks is seeking a security professional responsible for monitoring all persons and vehicles entering or leaving the facility property. The role requires directing traffic, logging activities, and alerting leadership to suspicious behavior, with emphasis on safety and professional conduct.

Qualifications include a high school diploma and 2+ years in security or related fields, plus a valid driver’s license and CPR/de-escalation training.

Qualifications

• Two or more years’ experience in security, corrections or military.
• Valid state driver's license.
• CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required.

• Keep accurate log books, as required.
• Direct emergency personnel arriving on facility property and maintain flow of traffic during emergencies, such as fire drills.
• Communicate incoming admissions, visits and deliveries to appropriate staff.
• Monitor parking area to ensure that no loitering or misconduct takes place, monitor lobby area and do frequent sweeps of the entire facility.
• Interact with staff and patients in a professional manner at all times.
• Report any suspicious behavior to the CEO, supervisor or a member of leadership.
• Perform other functions and tasks as assigned.
