Job summary

Securitas is seeking a Security professional for a full-time role in Albuquerque, NM. The position involves monitoring premises, access control, and patrolling multiple sites to maintain safety and order during graveyard shifts.

Responsibilities include de-escalation, reporting issues, and providing information to staff and visitors. The candidate should meet basic education, possess computer skills, and be able to work independently while staying calm under pressure.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Above-average computer/technology skills.
• Excellent customer service and teamwork.
• Ability to work independently and remain calm under stress.
• Pre-employment screening including drug test and background check.
• Ability to write clear reports.

Primary Location: ABQ, NM

Wage: $18.10/HR

Graveyard Shift:

• Fri: 0000 - 0600 OR Fri: 1800 - 0600
• Sat: 1800 - 0600
• Sun: 1800 - 0600

Our Security helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.

What You Can Expect:

Basic Requirements:

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must have a professional demeanor.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre‑employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
• Must have good report writing skills.
