Job summary

RTX is seeking candidates in Cedar Rapids for a role supporting Datalinks product development with security-enabled solutions for channel partners. You will participate in the systems development lifecycle, collaborating across engineering disciplines to reach program milestones and gain exposure to DoD security considerations.

You will build technical experience, have mentorship opportunities, and work with security and crypto specialists as part of Mission Systems, while pursuing a U.S.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Engineering and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co‑op session.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with a highly motivated and dedicated team supporting Datalinks product development, helping to provide security enabled solutions to our channel facing partners.
• Participate in the systems development lifecycle, including trade study execution, system design, requirements definition, allocation, traceability, integration, verification testing and qualification.
• Collaborate across many engineering disciplines to execute program milestones.
