Ludlum Measurements, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Systems Administrator to manage our core IT infrastructure in Sweetwater, TX.

The role focuses on VMware ESXi virtualization, Veeam data protection, and Microsoft Active Directory environments, with an emphasis on cybersecurity hardening and data recovery. We require at least 2 years in a Systems Administration or Network Engineering role, with strong PowerShell scripting and a security-first mindset.

Qualifications

• Requires at least 2 years in a Systems Administration or Network Engineering role.
• Experience with VMware ESXi, Veeam, and Active Directory environments.
• Strong PowerShell scripting ability and security-first mindset.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and document processes clearly.

Responsibilities

• Virtualization: VMware ESXi/vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter management.
• Data Protection: Veeam Backup & Replication with immutable backups.
• Identity: Active Directory, GPOs, and Azure AD/Entra ID management.
• Automation: Write and maintain PowerShell scripts.
• Security: Implement cybersecurity best practices, patching, and vulnerability management.
• Networking: Basic TCP/IP, DNS, and virtual networking knowledge.
• Documentation: Document technical processes and explain issues to stakeholders.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
