Job summary

eVisit is seeking a hands-on full-stack Software Engineer focused on security remediation. You will own end-to-end remediation of vulnerabilities from pentests, dig into code and infrastructure to fix root causes, and translate findings into TRD requirements for durable fixes.

As backlog stabilizes, contribute across Ruby on Rails and React development, applying a security-minded perspective to feature work and API security across real-time and RESTful interfaces.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience across multiple applications and layers.
• Proficient with Ruby on Rails and React.
• Experience with containerized environments, AWS, and Fargate.
• Strong RESTful API design and security considerations.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end vulnerability remediation identified in pentests and security assessments.
• Analyze session traffic and front-end/back-end interactions to design concrete remediation requirements.
• Feed remediation needs into TRD processes as durable design requirements.
• Harden session management across the stack and secure APIs and real-time features.
