Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Professional Flex Officer to support overnight patrols across multiple client sites in a dynamic environment. You’ll participate in a shift-pickup platform to view and claim open shifts that fit your schedule, gaining valuable site experience with exposure to healthcare, education, finance and more.

We look for dependable individuals who can communicate clearly, work well in a team, and adapt to irregular hours.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Valid driver’s license if driving a company or customer-owned vehicle.
• Background check and drug screen as a condition of employment.
• No prior experience required; ability to operate radio/console equipment.
• Be at least 18 years of age (21 if armed) and adaptable to different posts.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns.
• Sound alarms or notify police/fire department when needed.
• Control entry points and monitor entrances/exits.
• Prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities.
• Aid customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
• Make emergency notifications as necessary per site orders.
