Job summary

Allied Universal Security Services at a Grocer site in Taunton, MA is seeking a Security Flex Officer for a part-time overnight schedule (11 p.m. – 7 a.m., Saturdays and Sundays).

Weekly pay includes Paid Orientation and DailyPay, offering flexible scheduling and hands-on site experience across industries. The Security Professional Flex Officer will patrol designated areas, monitor entrances, and respond to incidents while delivering courteous service to clients and visitors.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license if driving a company or customer-owned vehicle.
• Background check conducted as a condition of employment in compliance with laws.
• Drug screen required as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards.
• Sound alarms or call police or fire department in case of fire or unauthorized presence.
• Warn violators of infractions and monitor entrances/exits.
• Observe departing personnel to protect property and ensure authorized removal per client requirements.
• Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents and suspicious activities; maintain logs.
