Allied Universal is hiring a Security Professional Flex Officer to protect client sites across multiple industries. You will view and claim shifts via our exclusive platform, building a diverse site experience and schedule that fits your availability.

You may work irregular shifts with little notice, gaining hands-on security experience and growth opportunities in a dynamic, collaborative team environment. Pay is $20.22 per hour, with comprehensive benefits and equal opportunity employment.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Valid driver’s license if driving a company or customer-owned vehicle.
• Background investigation required by law; criminal histories considered per applicable laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• No prior experience required.
• Be at least 18 years of age (21 if armed).
• Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments.
• Operate radio/console equipment; communicate with the public.
• Strong oral and written communication skills; write clearly and accurately.
• Active listening and problem-solving abilities.
• Assess situations quickly and identify issues.
• Mediation with tact; teamwork and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular conditions creating security concerns or hazards.
• Sound alarms or contact police/fire department when needed.
• Warn violators of infractions and monitor entrances/exits.
• Maintain logs and report accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities.
• Assist customers, employees, and visitors courteously.
• Make emergency notifications as required by site orders.
