Allied Universal is hiring a Security Flex Officer to safeguard clients across multiple industries. You will use our shift-pickup platform to view and claim open shifts, building a schedule that fits your availability and developing valuable site experience.

No experience is required, and there are plentiful opportunities for career development. The role may involve irregular shifts with little advance notice as needed to meet client requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Valid driver’s license may be required.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.
• No prior experience required.
• Be at least 18 years old (21 if armed).
• Reliable and able to adapt to different post assignments.
• Able to operate radio/telephone equipment and consoles.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
• Ability to work with the public and maintain safety.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols on foot or by vehicle.
• Monitor for unusual or hazardous conditions.
• Sound alarms or contact police/fire as needed.
• Control entry points and verify authorized personnel.
• Prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicions.
• Assist customers, employees, and visitors courteously.
• Make emergency notifications per site orders.
