Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer – Enhanced Part Time in Fort Worth, TX. This flexible role offers reliable hours with the possibility of picking up extra shifts through the scheduling platform, designed for income stability and a path toward fuller-time opportunities.

Pay rate is $21.75 per hour, with a six-month anchor shift commitment. The role emphasizes customer service, access-control, incident response, and regular patrols across an aerospace/defense site.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
• Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and baton preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, will undergo background investigation and drug screening.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors and contractors by carrying out security procedures, site policies, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorizations, maintain visitor logs, and report access-control concerns per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and communicate observations to site contacts or emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned facilities, restricted areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to identify and report unusual activity or security concerns.
• Complete incident reports and daily activity logs while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ('Anchor Shifts'): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Complete accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• Possess an active Department of Defense Secret Clearance.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and baton is preferred.
• Pepper spray certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
