Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time for Richardson, TX. This role offers fixed shifts with the option to pick up additional shifts through the scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings while maintaining flexibility.

You will patrol, monitor access, and respond to incidents according to site procedures, with pay of $19.16 per hour and a daytime/night schedule as outlined. Two years of security experience and a DoD Secret Clearance are required.

Qualifications

• At least two years of security-related experience is required.
• An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating observations to appropriate site personnel and/or emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facilities, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access to restricted areas in accordance with site-specific procedures and report unauthorized access attempts or policy violations.
• Prepare accurate activity reports and maintain clear written records of incidents, patrols, and security-related observations.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Security Clearance Unarmed Patrol in Richardson, TX, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $19.16 / Hour

Job Schedule: DayTimeWed10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least two years of security‑related experience is required.
• An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
