Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Site Patrol in Fort Worth, TX to provide reliable, consistent hours at a designated site with opportunities to earn more by taking additional shifts.

Pay rate is $17.00 per hour. The role includes a fixed shift anchor and a flexible pick-a-shift program, enabling you to balance part-time work with potential full-time hours.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required.
• Drug screen required.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, employees, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at public transportation facilities.
• Respond to incidents, service disruptions, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of transit facilities, platforms, parking areas, vehicle access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout assigned areas, reporting unusual conditions, hazards, and policy violations according to site procedures.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports regarding incidents, observations, and actions taken during the shift.

Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.


• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.


• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.


• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.


• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
