As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Armed Patrol Driver in Fort Worth, TX, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $20.74 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeMon08:00 AM - 12:00 PMThur08:00 AM - 12:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to passengers, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at public transportation locations.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, coordinating with appropriate personnel and public emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of transit facilities, platforms, parking areas, vehicles, and surrounding perimeters, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout assigned areas, reporting unusual conditions, policy violations, hazards, and suspicious activity according to site procedures.
• Maintain required reports, incident documentation, and communications while following applicable laws, client policies, Allied Universal procedures, and post orders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
